Malu'aka Beach is located behind the Maui Prince Hotel. To get there you drive down Wailea Alanui Road. Before you reach the Maui Prince Hotel there is a turnoff to go to the Keawala'i Church and Makena Landing. Take this turnoff. Where the road splits to go to Makena Landing (on the right) or the church (to the left), turn to the left. Drive past the church and drop off people at the turn around at the end of the road. Park your car in the parking lot across the road from the church. The public showers and restrooms are located at this parking lot.

You can also travel past the Maui Prince Hotel. At the next shoreward turnoff (Old Makana Road) where the main road takes a bend toward the east, turn off (to the west, right) on to the old road. Follow it for its length past the golf course. At the end of the road there is a nice paved parking lot with a wide walkway to the beach.

A prompt deposit will also guarantee the best selection of certain locations (that must be reserved in advance) and the guarantee of obtaining a preferred minister for your ceremony. Additional deposits will also be required for other professional services.
