Located past Makena beach, Makena cove is a private mystical beach with amazing views of Molokini and is often visited by the green sea turtles floating around in the surf. Also known as Secret Beach, although not much of a secret these days is a popular place to exchange vows.
Makena Cove is located at the South end of the island. You will travel through Kihei, Wailea to Makena on Wailea Alanui Road, passing all of the resorts, Makena beach is 1.2 miles beyond the driveway of the Maui Prince Hotel.You will see a stone wall. Just on the other side of the stone wall is the beach. There is an opening in this stone wall to Makena Cove. Park your car along side the stone wall. This is a very secluded beach as passing visitors would not know this beach was here unless they had read about it. Very Romantic.
